WordPress vs Joomla! for presentation sites
When Astra/Brainstorm Force makes sense — and when Helix + SP Page Builder is the better fit.
Both CMSs can ship excellent presentation sites. The better choice usually depends on your team’s existing stack and editing habits.
WordPress path
Astra plus Brainstorm Force apps (including Spectra) is a strong default for marketing sites that need speed, templates, and easy editing. WordPress Studio helps keep local development and launches tidy.
Joomla! path
Helix Ultimate with SP Page Builder remains a solid JoomShaper-centered workflow for organizations already standardized on Joomla!.
Rule of thumb
- Choose WordPress when your editors and ecosystem already live there.
- Choose Joomla! when the organization, extensions, or content model already depend on it.
- Rebuild only when the current site is blocking content or security work.
